Phototime

My submission to Phototime for the Shadow theme. I shot this last night. I thought it was an interesting take on shadow. A light casting a shadow seemed very fitting.

Photo post for What's Up?. I took this photo on a recent photo shoot in Bastion Square, downtown Victoria, BC, Canada.

I was using my Yashica FX103 with Fuji Realia 100, and my 28 mm lens. I loved how the tall building looked almost stumpy. The sky and cloud cover worked out well too.

Phototime post for patterns.

This is my Phototime Submission for theme number 28: lights. This was taken last Friday Night out at Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC. It was a busy night, and I waited a long time to get this shot. One lady asked me if I wanted her to wait. I replied "No thanks. Waiting is just part of Photography". After her and her companion walked through the shot I had a long stretch of no people. I took at least ten shot of various configurations. This one was my favorite. I have many shot from this night here.

My submission for Magical.

This was taken on Halloween night, a very magical night for many. my Neighbourhood had a gathering so everyone could shoot off their fireworks together. Some kids were playing with sparklers, and this is just one of the images I captured.
