Recently I bought a Kobo Clara HD. The kids have had Kobo’s for a while now and read on them quite a bit. I decided I wanted to use it for novels and some tech books that I have.

So far I am liking it. It took a little bit to get used to reading on that device. It is different than an iPad, and different than a paper book. It is easier on the eyes than the iPad, lighter than a paperback too.

I also like the integration with Pocket. I have quite a backlog there to get through and I am hoping that, with the aid of the Kobo, I can work through that in a more timely manner.

It would be even better if it included Instapaper integration too. I am going to have to refrain from hacking my device. It seems like there is a pretty decent hacking community for Kobo’s
