I have a co-worker that uses AI a lot. Some of it is interesting but lots of it is just slop cannon blasts. The worst being in personal communications. I really want to yell “your AI is leaking again” whenever it happens. Thankfully they haven’t figured out how to eradicate the emdash which is a clear indicator.

I still feel silly every time I use the head gestures feature in AirPods Pro when I am around people. I just wonder what people think I am doing when I suddenly shake my head left and right to silence someones wordle result 🤣

Living dangerously today: I’m going to install iPadOS 26 developer beta. Usually I wait for the public beta.

What I want AI to do for me: learn my patterns, predict something I do regularly and make sure I can access it easily.

Example, every Friday in Spotify I go to the Discover area and look for new releases by bands I follow. There is a New Releases area isn’t “smart” and includes everything, so I ignore that. The Discover area seems tailored to bands I follow.

Well, every week it seems the Discover area is sorted differently or has a new look. FFS Spotify, learn that I want this surfaced every Friday!

Time for me to be as delicate as this flower. Hopefully I can pull this off.

This past long weekend I spend some time “gardening”.

By gardening I mean trimming back and pulling out things from the “garden”.

By garden I mean my ever growing collection of invasive plants.
