For the kid, and the gadget geek in me there is the electric paper plan launcher. Fun and educational? Scratch the educational, this gadget is just awesome. How else can you get your plane up to 50 km/h?

LOTD – Cooler Scoop

Don’t you hate cooler hand? You know, when you reach into a cooler to extract a drink, and have to rummage through the ice to find something, only to have your hand end up near frozen? Taylor Gifts have the solution. The Cooler Scoop TM allows you to rummage through the ice without getting your hand in there. For less than $15 this might be worth it.

Or not.

LOTD – Paper Plane Simulator

I still love making paper airplanes. This flash games allows me to test various configurations on their base designs. How many loops can you do? That really isn’t the point of this game though. Distance is. In my few attempts today I have maxed at 42.9 m.

LOTD – Redneck Music

This toy is priceless. 2 redneck bobble heads in a 4X4 with a deer carcass strapped to the hood that bounces to music. Who thinks these things up? Why do I want one? What would I do with it if I had one?

Be sure to watch the video of it in action. Priceless.

LOTD – Desktop Reminds

I use Konfabulator Yahoo! Widgets at work to display a nice clock, and to keep tabs on my system stats.

This gadget steps it up several notches. Offload the gadgets to a desktop accessory that can sit beneath or below your screen so everything is always in view? Awesome.

I wonder what the thing costs? Kind reminds me of the Optimus Mini 3

LOTD – Wicked Listings

So far this is the most wicked TV listings webpage I have come across. Do the setup, let it load, then be amazed. It has drag capability like Google maps! Soooo, cool.

LOTD – R2D2 Trashcan

From ThinkGeek comes this wicked R2D2 trashcan. Not only is it imported from Japan to the US, but it can’t be shipped outside the US. And it is ridiculously expensive.

Still, I want one!

Posted Hobbes

I have never posted a YouTube video before, but this one is so hilarious. If you have ever liked a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon, you need to watch this clip.

Apparently this was taken from a Robot Chicken episode.
