First skate on the canal today was great. A little bumpy in areas but I managed to cover about 12 km and went the whole length of the maintained ice. This was an interesting obstacle though. Everyone had to move over so the machines could clean the ice.
I’ve been excited to get some snow here in Victoria, and we finally have it! In fact, for the first time in a very long time, there is a snow day for the kids due to another storm expected to hit this afternoon. Too bad I have to work today.
Yeah, this means I’ll be deleting this app. Too bad, it was fun. I skimmed part of the ‘agreement’ and did not like what I saw.

I took the plunge and changed my micro.blog to be the full feed from my site. This is my attempt at [POSSE](https://indieweb.org/POSSE). I don’t think I’m ready to give up Instagram yet, but Twitter and Facebook I never post to, save for a couple exceptions.

Sometimes I feel destined to not get a good nights rest. Last night, despite getting to bed earlier than normal, I was up by 5 am due to the dog. Sigh. At least I got some useful coding done.
It always brings me joy when I can meet the bus as it arrives at my stop (without running to catch it) and I can just walk on without waiting.
