Beauty day out there. Apparently I pushed a little too hard and flatted in the goose. Then I mangled the new tube. I ended up having to patch and get going again. That’s life some times.

With the Bay St bridge closed it has meant the Johnson St bridge gets more traffic. More traffic means people get impatient, block cross traffic, and block access to the bike lane when turning onto the bridge. Very frustrating when riding, especially during Bike to Work Week.
My little buddy on my bike got more than a few comments yesterday at the race. His job is to keep me pointed in the right direction and he usually does a pretty good job.

2019 Hammerfest Enduro. Racing is alive in Vancouver Island. Lots of fun, and I didn’t suffer quite so much in the climbs. The view from the power lines never gets old.
