LOTD – Inline IE Searching

Get your IE add-on here: http://www.core-services.fr/inline-search/

This removes the pop-up style searching in IE and turns it into the inline searching style of Firefox. This is the way searching in documents should be done. I really hope this catches on with other applications (and catches on quickly).

LOTD – Smart Mileage

Now this is a Smart Car I would buy. I bet the gas mileage isn’t quite as good, but it looks fun. Besides, imagine all the looks you would get while driving it.

LOTD – Mother Excuses

LOTD – Tearing Philosophy

There are lots of ways that companies can respect their customers. Provide a good product, provide a good warantee/guarantee, live up to promises and expectations.

Or.

Live up to this lovely, and accurate test to see if a company respects its customers.

If a sticker peels off cleanly, without tearing or leaving crap behind, then the company respects their customers. If ithe sticker leaves something behind, the company doesn’t care.

Excellent philosophy.

LOTD – Tripod Belt

I have a pretty nice tripod. I love it actually. Simple to set up, easy to adjust, nice height to it, and stable. The downside is that it is heavy and hard to carry around.

I came across this tripod belt the other day. Simple idea, but very effective and useful. Question is, do I buy one, or attempt to make something similar?

LOTD – Flip-flop Winner

After my flip-flop fiasco last weekend, I still am not sure where to shop for the shoes I want. Perhaps I should turn to the net to find what I want. Hmmm, what about these flip-flops?

Nice looking? Check.
Not too pricey? Check.
Beer bottle opener? Check.

LOTD – Star Backpack

This is a pretty funny product. Makes me remember seeing Star Wars and being amazed at the effects. Imagine the looks you would get riding your bike wearing one of these! This backpack would definitely turn a few heads.
