Finally got the bug that is going through the household. There are a few things I want to be doing, but laying low and resting are taking precedence. Maybe that is a good thing.

Some year I want to do the Festive 500 which is covering 500km between Christmas Eve and New Years Eve. Big challenge but I think would be doable. Today as I am driving through the second day of torrential rain, I am glad to not be doing it this year.
Spent a bit of ‘me’ time in the woods yesterday. Rode some old and new trails, got a bit wet, and a lot muddy. It was great to recharge.

My 2018 #bestnine. Mountain biking, family, and pets. That sounds about right. I feel like 2018 has been a bumpy ride in our household, but we are over the hump and ending the year on a good note.

We visited Butchart Gardens last night, our first visit in a few years. The lights were spectacular as always, but their switch to LEDs has made them brighter and allowed for more creativity.
The Christmas puzzle is done with only a little time to spare. Got some great assistance from my nephew.
